CMU’s Robotics Institute Summer Scholars (RISS) program partners with corporations, educational institutions, and governments around the world to provide transformative research experiences in robotics and AI.  Early research experiences impact education and career trajectories.  We thank our sponsors and partners for their invaluable support which makes all of this possible.  

Launched in 2006, CMU’s Robotics Institute Summer Scholars (RISS) program is among the best and most comprehensive robotics research programs for undergraduates in the world.  The quality and breadth of research at the Robotics Institute , high-level of institute and university engagement, and powerful professional development programming, graduate school application counseling, and alumni network create transformative experiences and remarkable post-program trajectories (including over 15 offers of admissions to RISS alumni for graduate programs at CMU for fall 2019!).
