Essential Application Information

  • Applications are normally accepted through January 17 11:59 PM EST at riss.ri.cmu.edu.
  • RISS 2023 Program ran from June 1 to August 6
  • Funding and support are available for both U.S. and international students
  • The RISS application includes the following pieces:
    • a resume (2 pages or less)
    • transcripts (in English & clear)
    • recommendation (from an academic advisor)
    • statement of purpose (2 pages or less)
