Zirui Wang

Hi, everyone! My name is Zirui Wang, and I’m currently a junior majoring Computer Science and minoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. My research interest is in Computer Vision, particularly in Vision-Language Models-VLMs. My goal is to explore the various possibility of expanding 2D pre-trained models into higher dimensionality, both in spatial relation, particularly in 3D computer vision, and in temporal relations, like Video processing. This summer, I will be working in Professor Katia Sycara’s lab on distributed perception, where we want to learn feature representations through neural symbolic approach. I’m excited about this summer research and special thanks for Professor Katia Sycara and my direct mentor, Yaqi Xie, for this opportunities, and RISS program for coordinating and building up networks.
