Essential Application Information
- 2026 applications will be accepted through January 21 at riss.ri.cmu.edu.
- The RISS 2026 Program will run from June 1 to August 9
- Funding and support are available for both U.S. and international students. Check our FAQ page for program eligibility requirements.
- The RISS application includes the following pieces:
- a resume (2 pages or less)
- transcripts (in English & clear)
- recommendation (from an academic advisor)
- statement of purpose (2 pages or less)
