Abdulrahman Almanea
Hello everyone! My name is Abdulrahman Almanea, but people call me Jbn [“Ju-bin”]. I am studying computer science and math at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. My academic and research interests deeply align with algorithms, computational complexity, and cryptography. I will be under the guidance of Dr. Dubrawski. Throughout my academic career, I have eagerly embraced opportunities to teach. As an Instructor for AI Olympics and MMCAT courses on the Gaeem Platform, I designed and delivered materials that emphasized algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills. This role allowed me to directly impact students’ preparedness for complex challenges, fostering both their academic and practical skills. Moreover, my experience as a TA for courses in Programming and Algorithms at UW-Madison enabled me to support my peers in enhancing their understanding of complex technical subjects. Through leading study sessions and discussion sections, I discovered the profound satisfaction that comes from helping others grasp difficult concepts and succeed in their studies. Through teaching, I have not only been able to share my knowledge but have also grown immensely as an individual, gaining insights and perspectives that have enriched my personal and professional life.
