Hello everyone! My name is Harrison Bagley, and I am currently pursuing a double degree in Mechatronic Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Adelaide, in Australia. Throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege of working on exciting projects that have fueled my passion for robotics and AI. I have been involved in the development of machine learning methods for counter-UAS strategies and exploring decision-making algorithms. Additionally, I have undertaken projects involving the simulation and control of mobile robotic vehicles. This summer, I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with the AirLab on a project involving fast-flying drones at low altitudes. The purpose of this system is for monitoring wildfires and exploration of building structures. I am very grateful for the chance to contribute to this field through the RISS program. Looking forward, I aspire to use the skills I gain from this experience to pursue graduate studies in the field of robotics to positively impact people’s lives.
