Jan-Malte Giannikos

Hi, I am Jan-Malte Giannikos, student at the University of Bielefeld, Germany. I am currently working on my Bachelors degree in cognitive computer science. During my studies I have developed an interest in planning algorithms and how they can be combined with other machine learning methods to deal with uncertain environments. This summer I will be joining the Intelligent Autonomous Manipulation Lab under the mentorship of Dr. Oliver Kroemer. There I will be working on modelling tree canopies and planning around them for the purpose of robotic manipulation. I am thrilled to be working with world renowned researchers and to meet many other people with a passion for robotics. I want to thank Dr. Oliver Kroemer, Rachel Burcin, Dr. John M.
