Kacper Trębacz
Hi, I am Kacper Trębacz, and I am from Poland. I have just finished my two Bachelor’s degrees: Data Science at Warsaw University of Technology and Artificial Intelligence at Poznan University of Technology. Currently, I am pursuing my Masters in Data Science. I am also an intern at Amazon, where I work on video quality metrics in the Ring Team. My research mostly focused on Computer Vision in biology and pathology. My thesis focused on cell detection and classification in endometrium tissue to aid the diagnosis process. I have also worked on applying deep learning models to cell painting images in order to find their mode of action. This summer I will be working on kernel density decision trees in a distributed setting under the guidance of Prof. Artur Dubrawski and Jack Good. I’d like to thank the RISS organizers, Rachel Burcin, Prof. Artur Dubrawski and Jack Good for this wonderful opportunity!
