As a senior honors student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, I am currently pursuing dual degrees in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Physics, with specific concentrations in Astronautics and Spacecraft Systems. Additionally, I have declared minors in Applied Mathematics and Computer-Aided Design/Manufacturing. This challenging academic journey has molded me into a well-rounded engineer, fostering a deep understanding of the core engineering fields that intertwine to define my program. Complementing my studies, I have gained valuable professional experience through internships at NASA and Honeywell, alongside roles as an Engineering Tutor and Undergraduate Research Assistant. With my undergraduate journey drawing to a close next year, I am eagerly preparing for the next chapter of my academic pursuit: Graduate Education. My passion lies in Biologically-Inspired Robotics, where I envision conducting research that has the potential to revolutionize both space exploration and search and rescue operations. I am particularly intrigued by the challenge of developing robotic systems for distant planets, as it demands solutions of unparalleled adaptability, capable of enduring the most extreme conditions imaginable. I also see opportunities to enhance search and rescue missions through agile and adaptable robotic assistants, designed to efficiently traverse hazardous terrain and locate survivors in disaster scenarios. My goal is not only to deepen my understanding of this domain but also to actively contribute to the advancement of robotics technologies with tangible, real-world applications.
