Łukasz is currently an undergraduate student at Poznan University of Technology majoring in artificial intelligence. He considers himself an aspiring research scientist with an entrepreneurial spirit. What fascinates him about AI is its practical application in solving real-world challenges. In particular, he’s fascinated by the potential of machine learning to solve problems in biomedicine and robotics. However, in addition to these practical challenges, there are also scientific gaps that need to be further explored through research.

Łukasz firmly believes that prioritizing the development of trustworthy, reliable, and cost-effective machine learning solutions is crucial for widespread adoption in the future. That’s why his research interests revolve around Trustworthy AI, AutoML, Data Quality, and MLOps. Looking ahead, he intends to pursue a Ph.D. program in a research lab that address these issues. He’s eager to connect with like-minded individuals who share his passion for applied AI research.

He views this summer as an amazing opportunity, getting to work in the AutonLab under the supervision of Dr. Artur Dubrawski and Mr. Jack Good. Their project involves developing explainable machine learning models using semi-supervised learning techniques on data with noisy labels. Łukasz would like to express his deepest gratitude to Rachel Burcin, Dr. Artur Dubrawski, and his sponsors for making this opportunity possible.
