Nicholas is an undergraduate student double majoring in computer science and mathematics at Columbus State University. His previous research focused on autonomously navigating UAVs through GPS-denied environments. This summer, he will be researching object-detection methods with Dr. Christoph Mertz in the Navlab. He is very thankful for this tremendous opportunity provided by the RISS program to learn more about machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, and to further develop his skills as a researcher. He looks forward to meeting and working alongside everyone this summer.
