Nika Fedorova
My name is Nika Fedorova, and I am a rising senior at the United States Air Force Academy. I am majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and minoring in both Chinese and Robotics. I am passionate about drones and autonomous systems, and how they can be leveraged in both rescue and combat environments or in assisting everyday human functions. I am excited to work with Dr. Sebastian Scherer in the AirLab this summer on a project that uses sensors and machine learning to assess human alertness in a disaster scenario. I aim to continue research related to drones in my capstone throughout my senior year, and ultimately, I hope to work on integrating human and robot interaction as either a pilot or engineer in the Air Force. Outside of academics, I lead the Air Force Club Volleyball team, and I love being active. From playing pickleball to biking, I love being outside and enjoying nature.
