Pablo Ortega-Kral

Pablo is majoring in robotics and digital systems engineering at Tec de Monterrey. His main experience in robotics is in visual surveying for autonomous navigation. Recently, he has been working with his university’s drone research group implementing ORB-SLAM2 for obstacle avoidance using a monocular camera. This summer, Pablo will be working with Dr. Jean Oh and Ingrid Navarro at the roBot Inteligence Group (BIG), exploring ways to do robust context-aware intent prediction for failure detection. He is deeply thankful to Dr. Oh and the whole RISS community for providing such an amazing opportunity. He looks forward to a summer full of collaboration and learning!
