In the past two years, he’s worked with both Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision, mainly focusing on the latter. Using CV, he did research to discover attention-defining actions in video conferences and found vacant parking spaces near large populated businesses and buildings. This summer, he has the opportunity to work with Dr. Hammal regarding pain recognition using computer vision, specifically other facial and bodily actions that contribute to pain identification. He would like to thank both the RISS staff and his mentor for giving him this extraordinary opportunity be a part of something amazing!
